I Dreamed A Dream Customer Reviews:
The Most Talented Lady on "Britain's Got Talent" TV Show WOW, First Paul Potts and now Susan Boyle - Who else is hiding their talent under a bushel?
Susan Boyle has the purest voice, crystal clear and beautiful, as she sings the songs on her first album "I Dreamed A Dream". I particularly loved the emotion that infuses "Wild Horses", the first song on the album. She then follows with "Cry Me A River" and "You'll See" a haunting song that echoes her life before her fame.
"Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art" grace the center of the album followed by two songs that surely come from the heart: "Who I Was Born To Be" and "Proud".
This is the album that has been on my stereo since the day I bought it from Amazon. It is amazing!
IDOL She is a real good singer. She has a great voice and noone can match the quality of it. She sounds almost like Barbra Streisand. I love the CD.
A great voice I have thoroughly enjoyed this collection of music from the great Susan Boyle. Her voice (which is mostly untrained)comes along only rarely in a century and I feel privileged to have been able to listen to it. Her story (being "discovered" on a talent program)is almost stranger than fiction and my only disappointment is that she was not the winner (can't figure this out!).
Maravillosa voz Excelentes cover de clasicos con una estupenda voz y linda orquesta, ojala sigamos recibiendo nuevas grabaciones de esta cantante que tiene una voz privilegiada. Wonderfull
Susan is spellbinding Susan's spin on old but goodies is haunting, almost ethereal. Her bell-clear, natural intonations are pleasant to one's ears. I think she should continue to amaze us with these interpretations of the truly melodic songs of both opera and pop from the past.
